The question

Good benefits deserve a bigger stage

Many organisations invest a lot of time and money in their benefits every year. Yet the communication about them often stays limited to vacancies, the careers site, the intranet or a staff handbook.

That leaves an opportunity on the table. Distinctive choices around leave, vitality, mobility or flexibility say a great deal about what you stand for as an employer.

With Benefits PR we make those stories visible outside your own organisation and use benefits for employer branding, labour-market communication and thought leadership within HR.

When is Benefits PR right for you?

Do you have a story that deserves more attention?

You do remarkable things

The benefits package contains schemes or choices that are distinctive, but hardly known outside the organisation.

Employer branding could be stronger

You want to show more concretely what you value as an employer.

More visibility in the labour market

You want to reach more than the candidates who already land on your careers site.

A need for substantive content

You want to publish quality content regularly without having to develop it all yourself.

Building thought leadership

You want to share your vision and choices around benefits with HR professionals and other employers too.

Not sure where to start?

In a short call we look at which approach fits your organisation.

Why this matters

Turn benefits into a story

01

Increase your reach

Bring your employer story to attention beyond your own communication channels.

02

Strengthen the employer brand

Use concrete examples to show what you stand for as an employer.

03

Build thought leadership

Share your vision and experience with other HR professionals and employers.

04

Create reusable content

Our approach

From benefit to publication

  1. 01

    Your own company page

    We set up a dedicated company page on ArbeidsvoorwaardenNieuws.nl, with an introduction to your organisation, your logo, contact details and a direct link to your website.

  2. 02

    Choosing the topic

    Each quarter we decide together which part of your benefits package or benefits policy makes for an interesting story.

  3. 03

    Interview & article

    We handle the process from interview and substantive development through to writing and editing. You supply the knowledge and practical experience; we turn it into a strong, accessible article.

  4. 04

    Publication & distribution

    The article is published on ArbeidsvoorwaardenNieuws.nl and brought further to attention through our social media channels and newsletter.

  5. 05

    Extra reach

    Where relevant we advise on additional ways to bring the story to the attention of HR platforms, trade media and other relevant channels.

Result

Consistently visible with your benefits story

With Benefits PR your benefits become part of your external communication throughout the year.

Benefits stop being just something employees receive and become a story that gets seen, shared and remembered.

Your own company page on ArbeidsvoorwaardenNieuws.nl

A new substantive article every quarter

Publication and distribution across several channels

Content you can reuse yourself

More visibility as an employer and within the HR field

Process & timeline

A whole year of attention for your benefits

Benefits PR is set up as an ongoing collaboration. Each quarter we develop a new substantive article together about a relevant part of your benefits package or benefits policy. For every article we agree the topic, plan an interview and then take care of the writing, editing, publication and distribution.

12months, with 1 article per quarter

That way we build steadily on the visibility of your benefits and employer brand throughout the year.

Indicative investment

What does Benefits PR cost?

For that you get your own company page on ArbeidsvoorwaardenNieuws.nl, and each quarter we develop and publish a substantive article about your benefits. Any additional work or external publication options are agreed separately in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Total Benefits is the first benefits intelligence platform in the Netherlands. It brings an organisation’s entire benefits package together in one central environment and helps employers structure, compare, improve and monitor their benefits.

Unlike traditional HR software, Total Benefits is not focused on HR administration or payroll processing. The platform is dedicated entirely to employee benefits, combining information about your own benefits package with market data, practical insights and intelligence.

With Total Benefits, you can:

  • centrally document and manage your entire benefits package;
  • access a Benefits Database containing more than 200 different employee benefits across 12 themes;
  • compare benefits using available benchmark data;
  • identify opportunities and explore potential improvements;
  • monitor governance, accuracy and changes to your benefits;
  • compare information from different sources using Benefits Sync;
  • combine insights from benchmarks, trends and other data sources to make better-informed decisions.

The aim is not for organisations to simply offer more benefits. Total Benefits gives employers the information and context they need to make better, more informed decisions about their benefits package.

This creates one central and increasingly rich source of information about employee benefits, which can be used not only by HR, but also by HR Business Partners, recruitment, communications and management.

In short: Total Benefits helps you understand what you offer, how you compare and where opportunities or risks lie – so you can make informed decisions about what to do next.

The name Total Benefits is derived from the well-known HR concept of ‘Total Reward’: the total value an employer offers its employees, from salary and benefits to development, culture and the overall employee experience.

Because we focus specifically on everything beyond salary, we chose the name Total Benefits.

Within the platform, we look at employee benefits across twelve core themes, such as wellbeing, mobility, flexibility, sustainable employability and meaningful work. This creates structure and coherence across the entire benefits package.

From this central source of information, organisations can structure, compare, improve and monitor their employee benefits. By combining information about their own benefits package with benchmark data, practical insights and trends, organisations gain the intelligence they need to make better-informed decisions about their benefits.

Benefits Intelligence is the process of collecting, combining and applying knowledge, data and market insights related to employee benefits.

Total Benefits combines information about an organisation’s own benefits package with benchmark data, practical insights, trends and other relevant sources. This provides insight not only into what an organisation offers, but also how its benefits compare to the market, where opportunities or risks lie, and which developments are relevant.

Benefits Intelligence forms the foundation of Total Benefits. It helps organisations not only manage their employee benefits, but above all make better-informed and better-supported decisionsabout their benefits package.
