Benefits that align with your company culture

Fellowmind is a European market leader in digital transformation, helping organisations make the most of technology. Driven by the belief that technology should bring people closer together, Fellowmind invests heavily in a strong organisational culture and attractive employership.

To remain distinctive in the labour market, Fellowmind wanted to further sharpen its existing benefits package and better align it with its core values. In addition, there was a need to communicate all benefits in a clear and compelling way.

Benefits that align with your company culture
We take great pride in our unique company culture, where everyone is free to be themselves. This culture is reflected not just in the workplace, but also in our benefits. We offer a package that is people-centered and modern. The Benefits Statement we developed in collaboration with Not Secondary has become a true reflection of our organization. Working with Not Secondary was a very pleasant experience. Paul was able to support us with inspiration and practical advice. Together, we arrived at a Benefits Statement that accurately captures what we have to offer and is a beautiful document to behold. Paul helped us communicate our benefits in a way that is not only more readable, but also better aligned with our core values. We also added and refined a number of great elements based on his outside-in perspective. We couldn't be more proud of the result!

Challenge:Fellowmind already had a strong benefits package in place and a wealth of internal knowledge to build on.

The challenge therefore was not so much to redesign the package from the ground up, but to further sharpen the distinctiveness of the benefits and align them with the organisation's core values and culture.

In addition, Fellowmind wanted to make the benefits more visible to employees and job applicants, so that the value of the total package would come across more clearly.

Approach & advice:Throughout the process, we supported Fellowmind at key strategic moments with advice, inspiration, and an external perspective on their benefits package.

Drawing on our knowledge of trends, developments, and benefits at other employers, we were able to contribute additional ideas and sharpen existing arrangements. Throughout this process, the focus remained on benefits that suit Fellowmind's culture, target audience, and ambitions.

This collaboration was characterised by a co-creation approach, combining the internal knowledge already present with our expertise in the field of secondary benefits.

Following completion of the Optimisation process, we developed a Benefits Statement that presents the full benefits package in an accessible, attractive, and contemporary way.

The document can be used for recruitment, onboarding, benefits discussions, and internal Communication, giving employees instant insight into the benefits Fellowmind has to offer.

Result:The result is a benefits package that aligns even more closely with Fellowmind's culture, core values, and identity.

In addition, the organisation now has a Benefits Statement that not only provides insight into the benefits, but also reflects what Fellowmind stands for as an employer.

By connecting benefits with company culture, a communications tool has been created that helps both current and prospective employees better understand and appreciate the value of working at Fellowmind.

The end result is a benefits story that is just as people-centred and forward-thinking as the organisation itself.

Total Benefits is the first Employee Benefits Intelligence Platform in the Netherlands. It helps organisations centralise, benchmark, manage and continuously optimise their employee benefits.

Unlike traditional HR software, Total Benefits is not focused on HR administration or payroll processing. Instead, it is designed to collect, enrich and apply knowledge, benchmark insights and practical expertise related to employee benefits.

At the core of the platform is Benefits Intelligence: the collection, enrichment and application of knowledge, benchmark information, market insights and technology related to employee benefits. This enables organisations to make better-informed decisions about their benefits strategy.

Within the platform you can combine, among other things:

  • the Benefits Database, containing more than 200 fully developed employee benefits, organised across 12 benefit themes;
  • benchmark information and practical market insights;
  • governance and compliance support;
  • optimisation workflows;
  • communication and implementation tools;
  • AI-powered support through the Benefits Assistant.

Total Benefits is not a one-time assessment or a standalone software tool. It is an intelligence platform that supports organisations in building, managing and continuously improving their employee benefits strategy.

As organisations continue to use the platform, they gain increasing insight into:

  • how their benefits compare with the market;
  • which benefits are most relevant to their workforce;
  • where optimisation opportunities exist;
  • which trends and developments are shaping the future of employee benefits.

The goal: helping organisations move from fragmented employee benefits towards better-informed decision-making and a future-proof benefits strategy.

The name Total Benefits is inspired by the well-known HR concept of Total Rewards: the complete value an employer offers employees, including compensation, benefits, development opportunities, company culture and the overall employee experience.

Since our platform focuses specifically on everything beyond base salary, we chose the name Total Benefits.

Within the platform, employee benefits are organised into 12 core benefit themes, including wellbeing, mobility, flexibility, sustainable employability and meaningful work. This creates greater structure, consistency and visibility across the entire employee benefits package.

Built on this central knowledge layer, organisations can not only manage their employee benefits, but also benchmark, optimise and make better-informed decisions for the future.

Benefits Intelligence is the process of collecting, enriching and applying knowledge, data and market insights related to employee benefits.

By combining consultancy expertise, benchmark information, practical market insights and technology, Total Benefits enables organisations to make better-informed decisions about their employee benefits strategy.

Benefits Intelligence forms the foundation of every capability within Total Benefits — from the Benefits Database and benchmark insights to governance, AI-powered assistance and future platform innovations.
