Presenting benefits in a way that suits your organisation

Eosta is an international distributor of organic fruit and vegetables, known for its sustainable vision on food and transparency throughout the supply chain. Guided by its core values of responsibility, collaboration, and authenticity, the organisation invests not only in its products, but also in its people.

Eosta had a comprehensive benefits package in place, but was looking for a way to present all its arrangements in a clear and compelling manner. The goal was to give both employees and job applicants a better understanding of everything the organisation has to offer.

Presenting benefits in a way that suits your organisation
After a number of conversations with Not Secondary/Paul Brink, it quickly became clear that we wanted a more comprehensive statement. Not Secondary seamlessly adapted to this. Even after an initial, highly creative proposal, they listened carefully and adjusted the statement to our wishes. This has given us a great menu of all benefits for our (prospective) employees. It provides a clear picture of everything that is done and organised for our employees. Thank you for the great collaboration!

Challenge:Eosta had a comprehensive and diverse package of secondary benefits. In addition, the HR policy and HR pillars were already well developed and clearly embedded within the organisation.

The challenge therefore lay not in optimising the terms of employment, but in presenting everything Eosta offers its employees in a clear and appealing way.

The goal was to develop a communication tool that gives both current and prospective employees an at-a-glance overview of the benefits and the attention Eosta devotes to vitality, development and wellbeing.

Approach & advice:After several conversations with HR Manager Cornelie Eichelsheim, it became clear that a traditional Benefits Statement would not do sufficient justice to the identity of the organisation.

We therefore chose to develop a concept that fully aligns with the culture and vision of Eosta.

Because vitality plays a central role within the organisation, the nameEosta Vitaliteit Menuwas chosen.

Within this document, all benefits, facilities and initiatives have been brought together in a clear and visually appealing way. A conscious choice was made to draw entirely on Eosta's own strengths and the unique elements the organisation already offers its employees.

Throughout the process, the concept was further refined based on feedback from Eosta, ensuring that the final result fully matched the organisation's wishes.

Result:The result is a distinctive communication tool that perfectly aligns with Eosta's identity.

Instead of a traditional overview of benefits, the organisation now has a Vitaliteit Menu in which employees and applicants can discover in an accessible way what Eosta has to offer as an employer.

As a result, the benefits have not only become more visible, but the attention Eosta devotes to vitality, wellbeing and good employership is also conveyed in a compelling way.

The end result is a communication tool that fully aligns with the culture, core values and ambitions of the organisation.

Total Benefits is the first Employee Benefits Intelligence Platform in the Netherlands. It helps organisations centralise, benchmark, manage and continuously optimise their employee benefits.

Unlike traditional HR software, Total Benefits is not focused on HR administration or payroll processing. Instead, it is designed to collect, enrich and apply knowledge, benchmark insights and practical expertise related to employee benefits.

At the core of the platform is Benefits Intelligence: the collection, enrichment and application of knowledge, benchmark information, market insights and technology related to employee benefits. This enables organisations to make better-informed decisions about their benefits strategy.

Within the platform you can combine, among other things:

  • the Benefits Database, containing more than 200 fully developed employee benefits, organised across 12 benefit themes;
  • benchmark information and practical market insights;
  • governance and compliance support;
  • optimisation workflows;
  • communication and implementation tools;
  • AI-powered support through the Benefits Assistant.

Total Benefits is not a one-time assessment or a standalone software tool. It is an intelligence platform that supports organisations in building, managing and continuously improving their employee benefits strategy.

As organisations continue to use the platform, they gain increasing insight into:

  • how their benefits compare with the market;
  • which benefits are most relevant to their workforce;
  • where optimisation opportunities exist;
  • which trends and developments are shaping the future of employee benefits.

The goal: helping organisations move from fragmented employee benefits towards better-informed decision-making and a future-proof benefits strategy.

The name Total Benefits is inspired by the well-known HR concept of Total Rewards: the complete value an employer offers employees, including compensation, benefits, development opportunities, company culture and the overall employee experience.

Since our platform focuses specifically on everything beyond base salary, we chose the name Total Benefits.

Within the platform, employee benefits are organised into 12 core benefit themes, including wellbeing, mobility, flexibility, sustainable employability and meaningful work. This creates greater structure, consistency and visibility across the entire employee benefits package.

Built on this central knowledge layer, organisations can not only manage their employee benefits, but also benchmark, optimise and make better-informed decisions for the future.

Benefits Intelligence is the process of collecting, enriching and applying knowledge, data and market insights related to employee benefits.

By combining consultancy expertise, benchmark information, practical market insights and technology, Total Benefits enables organisations to make better-informed decisions about their employee benefits strategy.

Benefits Intelligence forms the foundation of every capability within Total Benefits — from the Benefits Database and benchmark insights to governance, AI-powered assistance and future platform innovations.
