From complex collective agreement to one overview of all benefits
Vrumona produces and sells well-known soft drink brands for the Dutch market and is part of Royal Unibrew. With hundreds of employees, the organisation works every day towards sustainable growth, innovation, and attractive employment.
The combination of a collective labour agreement and additional company schemes created a need to bring all benefits together in a clear, structured overview. Vrumona wanted to give employees and applicants an at-a-glance view of the benefits the organisation has to offer.

With the help of Not Secondary, we transformed our benefits into an overview that is clear, accessible, and a pleasure to read. It almost feels like it was always this straightforward, but that's largely thanks to their sharp eye and calm, structured approach. Our current colleagues and future colleagues alike can now see at a glance what we have to offer, and that's exactly what we needed.
Challenge:Vrumona faced a relatively complex situation in which employees are subject to both collective labour agreement (CBA) terms and additional company-specific arrangements.
As a result, it was not always easy for employees to gain a clear understanding of the complete benefits package and the entitlements available to them. In addition, Vrumona wanted to be able to leverage its benefits more effectively when attracting potential new employees.
The challenge was to bring all benefits together in a single, clear and accessible format that aligns with the culture of the organisation.
Approach & advice:For this challenge, we advised developing a Benefits Statement.
This document brings together all of Vrumona's benefits and presents them in a visually appealing and accessible way. The goal was to give employees and job applicants an at-a-glance overview of the complete benefits package.
Specifically for Vrumona, the decision was made not to call the document a "Benefits Statement", but rather "Our benefits". This ensures the Communication better matches the culture and target audience of the organisation, giving the document a less corporate feel.
In addition, we integrated Vrumona's vision, core values and existing guiding principles into the Communication. This resulted not only in an overview of benefits, but in a document that also reflects the identity of the organisation.
Result: The result is a clear and accessible document in which all benefits are brought together in one central place.
This gives employees a better understanding of their benefits and the value of the total package. In addition, Vrumona now has a professional communication tool that can be used for attracting new employees, onboarding and internal communications.
By distilling complex regulations and additional company agreements into a single, easy-to-understand overview, the benefits are more visible, more accessible and easier for employees to take full advantage of.
